Forcing myself to read French text while using OS X is somewhat helpful -but of course hardly enough. (In fact, I ordered my MacBook Pro to come with a US English printed layout not that I ever look at the keys anyways but whatever.)īut I don't have the same with French. I'm continuously exposed to the English language, despite residing in Germany right now, by reading Newsweek International, talking to dozens of native English speakers online, watching movies and TV series in English, etc. It's because my girlfriend made the good point that it wouldn't hurt for me to practice French a little if I do end up staying in Québec for a longer amount of time again.
Chucker, why on earth are you running OS X in French? :)
